Context
Xunt makes compression socks, a functional product often associated with medical use. For social media, the opportunity was to show another side of the product: colorful socks worn while moving through the moments people enjoy, from dancing to sport and everyday errands.
Challenge
Create a package for paid and organic social that did not feel like a conventional product ad. The videos needed to make the product visible while leading with the fun of wearing it, without making the work feel like a medication commercial.
My role
I spoke with the client, listened to their wishes and worked through the brief with them. From there, I shaped the creative direction and planned a production package around what they wanted to communicate, including model and location booking, shooting and editing.
Approach
I built the ideas around recognizable situations where someone might wear the socks: dancing, exercising or going about a day out. Each reel could feel like an entertaining social moment first, with the product naturally present and in use rather than explained through medical-style messaging.
Visual decisions
Color: bright styling and the socks' different colors and patterns give each video an immediate visual hook.
Movement and music: active scenes and a lively rhythm help the reels feel at home in a social feed.
Relatable settings: familiar activities make the product feel wearable beyond a clinical context.
Product in use: the socks remain visible within the action, connecting the fun of each moment back to Xunt.
Final execution
The seven-reel package moves between product-focused moments, dancing, running and everyday situations. Together, the videos bring color and energy to the range while showing the socks being worn and highlighting its different colors and patterns.
Customer-experience rationale
Social audiences meet content in the middle of other things, so a recognizable, entertaining moment gives them a reason to pause before asking them to consider a product. Showing the socks in motion helps viewers picture them as part of an active or everyday wardrobe, while color and pattern make the range easier to notice and remember. The product stays present without making the experience feel like a hard sell or a medical claim.
The package was created for paid and organic social use. No campaign performance figures were supplied.
